To provide complete notification and seven in-duct detectors 6/28/2005 - Eight (8) total area coverage smoke detectors for HVAC shutdown in the remodeled area on the west side of the 6th floor. A general note states that the any smoke detector shall shut down all HVAC on the entire floor. A smoke detector and speaker/strobe are being added to the electrical room for the NAC panel. A previously issued fire alarm permit (FIR04-00472) includes notification appliances in this open office area. The construction schedule is for FIR04-00472 to be completed prior to the initiation of this permit. The required manual fire alarm system (high-rise building requirements) includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification throughout.

5/4/2006 - Smoke detector will be installed in Office 609. That will accommodate the required full area coverage for this TI space.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-02236) is to remodel a 3240 sq ft portion of an 8299 sq ft office space located on the 6th floor for new office space. ONLY 3240 sq ft will be used, but this will be open to the whole floor area. ALL EXIT ACCESS DOORS MUST BE OPERABLE, Work to include, construction of noncombustible partitions to create a small conference room and office space the rest will be open office area. Installation of lights and modification to the HVAC System. Miscellaneous related interior finishes. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
