To provide complete notification (speaker/strobes) in a remodeled area to an existing fire alarm system. Thirteen (13) in-duct 6/27/2005 - Eleven (11) total area coverage smoke detectors are being installed to provide shutdown of fan-powered terminal boxes. (matrix defines that the entire floor will be shutdown.) Speaker/strobe will be installed in the electrical room. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, elevator recall/shutdown, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-02761) is to remodel a 5,608 sq.ft. office area located on the forth floor per approved plans. The work will include, construction of new partitions to create office areas, control center, breakroom, and training room, new HVAC Ducting and new lighting. The existing suspended ceiling system will remain. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
