Sprinkler piping above the vaulted ceiling in the elevator lobby is ok to cover but will not be finaled until the revized piping size is approved. If piping is not approved all changes will be required to meet approval prior to finaling permit.

Inspection was for vaulted ceiling in the elevator lobby. The sprinkler piping on plans is 1 1/4" but piping is actually 1". Notified contractor that the piping laying on top of the soffits must meet nfpa 13 requirements for hanging. I could bent the soffit with my own weight. 3/3/2005 12:33:05 PM
