Fire alarm permit FIR04-00658 (shell and core) must be completed prior to occupancy for this permit (FIR05-00229).
To provide total notification and manual pull station to the new TI space located on the first and basement floors. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.
The associated building permit (BLD 05-00053) is to create a 6,079 square foot retail sales furniture store (3,734 square foot 1st story and 2,345 square foot basement) and to perform interior tenant improvement work. This space is located on the 1st story and basement (Northwest corner) of an existing 6 story building. Work is to include wall furring, gypsum board soffits, suspended ceilings, a new floor opening between the basement and 1st story, a new non-egress stairway, interior nonbearing walls, and interior finishes. In addition, the basement non-rated corridor will be extended to the existing enclosed stairway located at the alley. All work shall be per the approved drawings, engineering, and the plan review report on file.
