Description
To provide monitoring for a new sprinkler flow switch located in South Tower northern tunnel. Battery calculations appear to be sufficient (generator information included in packet). Provide a revised building map to the inspector. No written comments. The PDS Fire Inspector to field verify one (1) waterflow. Resubmit plans if additional devices are required to be added.

The associated fire suppression permit (FIR05-00160) is to reroute the existing 6" underground into the MSTI/St. Luke's connecting tunnel corridor, running south and across the connecting tunnel corridor into the MISTI fire sprinkler control room, while abandoning the existing underground and overhead supply piping in the fire sprinkler room. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments and conditions list; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD04-00094.
MISTI UNDERGOUND & SERVICE SUPPLY REROUTE FOR ST. LUKE'S MRI and BD SHELL & CORE ADDITION *

The associated building permit (BLD04-00094) is to construct a 790 square foot, three story stair enclosure and a 1505 square foot MRI Vault at the basement. This is a shell and core addition being constructed on the south side of the existing St. Luke's Hospital building along with selective demolition at each floor. As well as a 330 square foot, one story, shell and core entry addition at the south end of the west wing. To remove all vehicular traffic on Bannock St. between 1st St and Ave A and turn area into a park. This is a shell and core permit only. Tenant improvement permits will be required to finish these additions for occupancy. Plan Modification - The scope of work for this permit has been modified to delete the proposed 790 sq. ft. stair enclosure and 1505 sq. ft. MRI Vault at the basement portion of this project. The scope of work has been further modified to enlarge the entry addition at the south end of the west wing to include a 375 square foot, shell and core area at the first floor above a 350 square foot ground level space. This new portion of this addition is structurally designed for a future second and third floor addition above. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
