To provide required automatic detection (total coverage) and notification for an office remodeled space. The existing fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown, cooking hood monitoring and notification throughout. The Family Life center is not required to have automatic detection and has required voice/evac.

The associated building permit (BLD 05-00222) is to remodel office space within an existing space. Work includes minor demolition of non-bearing partitions, new non-bearing partitions to create new offices and breakroom per approved plans.
