To provide total coverage notification for the access-exit corridor on the 2nd floor. This permit must be completed prior to any occupancy on this floor. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-03036) is to construct a non-rated exit access corridor between existing stair enclosures, public elevator, common use restrooms & new janitor room; to install new access / egress doors off the corridor in several locations for future development of the 2nd floor; install suspended ceiling grid system, electrical, plumbing and mechanical per plans; and modifications to sprinkler & alarm systems for code compliance per NFPA 13 as regulated by fire department. All per reviewed plans to include red-lined notes & stamps thereon and all attached plan reviews of all reviewing agencies.
