To provide required automatic detection (total coverage) and notification (voice/evac) in the remodeled space. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification (voice/evac - highrise) throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 05-00624) is to remodel a 1,389 sq. ft. portion of the existing MRI suite support area. To perform selective interior demolition of non-bearing construction; construct new interior fire-resistive non-combustible walls to create a new waiting / reception area, a dressing room, a combination accessible restroom / dressing room, exam room, MRI controls area and equipment areas; to install new suspended ceiling system and upgrade of finishes, millwork, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, sprinkler and alarm systems to meet tenant needs and comply with current adopted codes. All per approved plans to include attached plan review conditions and red-lined notes on plans. A "Letter of Compliance" is required for final approval & occupancy.
