The associated fire sprinkler permit (FIR05-00258) is to install a new 688 gallon Dry Pipe System in the addition of 15,000-ft/2 of new high piled combustible storage area which includes enclosing 3,840-ft/2 of covered exterior storage area within an existing 38,942-ft/2 high piled combustible storage warehouse building, and office. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase to meet the requirements for an unlimited area building. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. The associated building permit (BLD04-02970) is to add 15,000 sq.ft of new interior storage area and enclose 3,840 sq.ft. of covered exterior storage area to an existing 38,942 sq.ft. storage, office and warehouse building. Note this building is being considered as a unlimited area building with 60' of yards on all sides around the building. A separate permit and bond will be required to demo the existing structure to the west of this building. Note: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase to meet the requirements for an unlimited area building. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
