To provide a duct detector for HVAC shutdown to an existing required manual fire alarm system which includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification throughout. The battery will be upgraded to two 50a-h batteries in a battery cabinet, the existing charger is capable of charging up to 85a-h. No written comments, PDS Fire Inspector to field verify battery monitoring and the functionality of the duct detector. An updated building map shall be provided at time of inspection.

There associated building permit BLD05-00949 is to install a new HVAC system on the roof of the gym per approved engineering and plans. Work will include, cutting roof deck, adding reinforcement to existing roof joists, running duct work. This building is fully fire sprinklered. *(YMCA)*
