To provide notification throughout the 4th floor and relocate two smoke detectors. A new NAC extender panel will be added to the 4th floor. The existing fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout (high rise).

The associated building permit (BLD 05-01916) is to remodel the existing waiting rooms, office and sleep room access for use as admin and admin secretary offices within existing 4th floor pediatrics tenant space per approved plans. Work involves selective demolition; construction of interior non-combustible walls to create new reception / admin secretary area, admin office and reduce size of access hallway to existing sleep rooms; to upgrade electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm systems; replace ceiling grid system, millwork & finishes. Separate sprinkler & alarm system modification permits WILL be required. A Letter of Compliance is required for final approval & use of this remodeled area.
