To provide total notification in the TI space located on the 1st floor and the new space added on the second floor. A new NAC panel is being added, trigger to be an existing NAC circuit to be relocated to the new NAC panel.

4/14/2006 - Plan Modification is to synchronize the visual alarms in the egress of the new TI space located on the second floor. The appliances are being changed to allow a separate visual circuit to allow the syncing. The audible will remain as is (at this time, the audible is NOT temporal).

As there are no modifications to these egress areas, the existing appliance locations will be acceptable, but in the future if these areas are modified, they will need additional visual coverage per NFPA 72.

The associated building permit (BLD 05-01564) is to construct a 2,800 square 2nd story addition within an existing recreational facility. After the addition, the 2nd story will have a floor area of about 21,300 square feet and this building will have a total floor area of about 99,300 square feet. The actual volume of this building remains the same. Work is to include concrete footings, steel columns, steel beams, concrete floor, suspended ceilings, aluminum storefront system, and guards. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. No zoning review required per Scott Spjute, Zoning & Development Mgr. **CJW** (WEST BOISE FAMILY YMCA - SECOND STORY ADDITION) This building is fire sprinklered for building area increase. Interior nonstructural demolition is covered under permit BLD05-02313.
