Description
To provide an internet communication link in lieu of the phone line to Target's central station. It has been designed per NFPA 72; 8.5.4, "Other Transmission Technologies" and has been listed by UL for the use. A network card (powered by an auxiliary power supply) will be provided in the Radionics D9412 which will connect to the local Ethernet which in turn makes connectivity with the world wide web. Data is transmitted through the Ethernet, over the world wide web, into the central station via the Ethernet into a network card in the central station receiver. The entire communication process has been UL tested, letters are included in the packet. No FACP battery calculations required as there is no change in FACP load. The aux power supply calcs appear to be sufficient, 12 a-h batteries shall be provided. The PDS Fire Inspector shall field verify FA signals (alarm, supervisory and trouble) are received by the central station in the required time frame.
