MICRON BUILDING #24B - (C8809) - PROVIDE CLEAN KIT STAGING AREA - To demo a small closet and straighten approximately 6 lineal feet of existing fire-barrier wall at the south side of Service Corridor #100AE and to install a short section of interior partition and reinstall the closet door to separate Service Corridor #100AE from Service Corridor #100AF. This work is being done on the first floor of Building #24B between grid lines #10 and #B.2&B.4. Fire sprinkler work is related to the demolition and reconstruction of cleanroom/corridor fire-barrier separation wall for semiconductor fabrication and comparable research and development areas in which hazardous chemicals may be used, stored, and handled and containing what is defined as cleanrooms or clean zone, or both. This project was split into two permits due to separate systems, with one design unverified. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
