FIR05-00715 is a pre-action releasing system (panel located in the electrical room, first floor) that will supply an IT room on the second floor and the electrical room (first floor directly below the IT room) that feeds the IT room. The pre-action releasing system shall be programmed as a "double-interlock" system. The sequence shall be as follows: first action, a single smoke detector; second action the pressure switch on the pre-action system third action; release solenoid valve. The FACP shall monitor the pre-action control panel for alarm, supervisory and trouble signals.
The associated fire alarm permit FIR05-00734 is associated with the required manual fire alarm system installed in the building.
The associated building permit BLD05-01478 is to occupy the entire second floor in existing vacant shell building per approved plans. Work under this permit will also include constructing a building core corridor with lobby, exercise room with showers, pantry, mail room, and janitor's closet on the first floor of the building. Work to include new interior walls, new interior doors, some new interior glazing, interior finish, new suspended ceiling installation, new soffit work, new cabinets/counters and sinks, fire sprinkler and fire alarm work, new mechanical, new plumbing, and new electrical work.
