To demo four (4) duct smoke detectors located on the supply side of HVAC equipment. Three (3) new smoke duct detectors are being installed on AC1-5, AC1-6 and AC1-7 returns. An existing HVAC unit NSB-55 will remain and is located on the supply. No written comments. The PDS Fire Inspector to field verify functionality. Physical location and code requirement shall be based on the IMC and verified by the PDS Mechanical Inspector and PDS Fire Inspector. Provide revised building map at time of inspection.

The associated building permit (BLD05-03146) is to replace HVAC units on roof with added structural support per approved plans and add safety railing at roof as shown on plans. Separate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire sprinkler and fire alarm permits are required. This building is used primarily as a test chamber for specialized equipment and has been declared as primarily not for human occupancy. Therefore the 2003 IECC does not apply per section 101.2.
