(US BANK - 7TH FLR - EXISTING HEAD REPLACEMENT) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To replace all 85 existing pendant fire sprinklers throughout the remainder of this floor (not covered under FIR05-00840) from standard response to quick response SSP's. The floor area of the entire 7th story is about 14,600-ft/2. The "core" has a floor area of about 2,670-ft/2. The sprinkler system and installation of quick-response fire sprinklers throughout this entire floor is required (to comply with the provisions of the current NFPA 2002 NFPA 13, 2000 IFC and 2000 IBC - Upgrade Agreement). This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
