To add and relocate A/V appliances for the TI remodel (floor 18) to an existing required fire alarm system that includes manual pull stations, automatic detection, sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, high rise bldg requirements and notification appliances throughout.
The associated building permit (BLD 06-00035) is to perform minor remodel on the 18th floor per approved plans all rooms are existing this tenant space used to occupy the entire 18th and 19th & 20th floors. This permit will reduce the tenant area on the 18th floor from 9486 sq ft to 1692 sq ft. Work to include, installation of two new exit access doors to create a common exit access lobby area, construction of a new 4 lf partition wall, installation of required exit signs, miscellaneous related finishes. This will create a 1692 sq ft space that is connected to the 18th floor tenant space by an open access stairway, This will also create two new leasable spaces for future tenants. A separate permit will be required to occupy these two additional lease spaces. This will also create a common lobby area that will provide exit access for the connected tenant space and the new future tenant space. This building is fully fire sprinklered and fire alarmed, any alterations to the fire alarm system or the fire sprinkler system WILL require separate permits as required by the fire department.
