(INTERMOUNTAIN HOSPITAL) To install a complete NFPA 13-2002, wet pipe, light hazard fire sprinkler system in a new 11,250-ft/2 addition of Health Care Treatment facility consisting of wood constructed walls, floor, non gable-flat roof 2" x 10" wood joist system. This permit includes a 6" fire service underground, connected in N. Allumbaugh which runs west 66 feet on the north side of the structure and then east into a 36-ft/2 sprinkler riser room. This complete fire sprinkler system must comply with the IFC 2003, NFPA 13 2002, 24-2002, any red lining of plans and the attached plan review comment and conditions list; all regulated by the Fire Chief. A fire "Inspection Card" is required as a condition of this permit, to provide witness of compliance with the same. This permit is not attached to any building permit (as of this review date).

Underground piping is laying in the trench but thrust blocks and bury wire is missing. The piping does not meet the 4'-6" minimum bury depth. I went over this with the fire sprinkler and general conractor. They stated that the landscaping would be raised to meet code.

Inspection was for the piping above the units with hard lid ceilings. See city approved plans for locations where there is shadowing in the restrooms. The units with ceiling tile will be inspected when installed on site.
