GEM & NOBLE BUILDING RENOVATION-UG * To install 14'-6" of 6" Class 150 D.I. from the property line in Main Street, North into the basement of a 34,300-ft/2, 2 story historic building (11,400 square foot basement, 11,400 square foot 1st story, 11,500 square foot 2nd story). The building is to be fire sprinklered for building area increase and for story increase. This work will be related to the renovation work includes an interior 1-hr stairway, 1-hr corridors, an elevator, 1-hr shafts, new storefront windows and doors, new skylights, and a new roof covering and nine (9) dwelling units will be provided on the 2nd story. Also work involving seismic upgrade will be done. The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2003, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-01154.

Project scope has changed as the property line is at the foundation wall. Point of connection for the sprinkler contractor has moved, UG work at the new point of connection is not completed for inspection at this time.
