Description
The fire sprinkler work is to connect 20'-0" of new 6"C-900 to an existing 6" stub at the property line.

The building work is to build a 20,500 square foot, one story, warehouse shell building addition on the east end of an existing 14,500 square foot, one story warehouse building. The existing builidng and new addition are constructed of masonry exterior bearing walls and wood framed roof system. This permit also includes related site improvements. This addition is a shell permit only. No occupancy is allowed under this permit. Separate tenant improvement permits will be required to finish this addition for occupancy. The proposed addition and existing building are fully fire sprinklered. The sprinklers are used for area increase. All construction per the approved plans.

The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2003,
attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and
fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD06-00051.

Underground supply piping is ok to cover. As measured the underground is not deep enough. I discussed this with Brian and the general contractor. The finish grade will need to be 1" above the north sewer access cover to meet code and will be checked at the final.
