To provide total notification in the TI space located on the first floor. This is a required manual fire alarm system. No manual pull station is indicated on the plans at the exit. During the inspection for the shell and core, it was agreed to place the manual pulls on the walls (which place the pull station more than 5 feet from the exit) and to be relocated when the TIs occur. The manual pull station shall be within 5 feet from the door per NFPA 72. The PDS Fire Inspector shall field verify. No written comments. Battery calculations appear to be sufficient. Provide revised building map, including any architectural changes to the PDS Fire Inspector at time of inspection.

The associated building permit (BLD06-00222) is to remodel an existing 864 sq ft tenant space located on the first floor of a five story building for a new office tenant per approved plans. This space was originally created under the shell & core permit Bld02-02126. This permit is to finish out the interior of space. Work to include, installation of a new 90-minute fire rated door, installation of new lighting, relocation of the existing HVAC unit, Miscellaneous related interior finishes.
