Description
To provide total notification and smoke detector coverage in the TI space located in the basement. Additional visible notification to be added in corridor utilized for egress. No written comments. Battery calculations appear to be sufficient. Provide revised building map, including any architectural changes to the PDS Fire Inspector at time of inspection.

The associated building permit (BLD06-01257) is to remodel within an existing 620 sq. ft. area to create a new 192 sq. ft. Packaging Room with the remaining 428 sq. ft. to continue as Food Nutrition area. Work includes selective interior non-bearing wall demolition and removal of walk in cooler from Food Nutrition area. New construction will be non-combustible perimeter walls for Packaging Room; new access door assembly to serve the room; interior finishes for walls & floor with new acoustical suspended ceiling grid system and cabinetry; upgrade of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm systems to meet tenant needs and comply with current adopted building codes and ordinances. This building is fully sprinklered. Sprinkler system and alarm system modifications require separate review and approval for permits before any work is done on systems, as regulated by Fire Department.
