An adjoining 12,250-ft/2 warehouse is fully sprinklered. This remodel will convert approximately 1,746-ft/2 of the existing warehouse area into office in conjunction with remodel of existing 2,800-ft/2 office. Fire sprinkler work is related to selective demolition, the construction of new structural elements, two restrooms, an accessible locker / shower room, exercise, breakroom, conference, display, reception / waiting and office areas. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit BLD06-00384. Revised 8/22/2006: This plan review is the result of changes made in the field during construction which affected the remote area @ col. # 10, 9, A - C. The calculation summary provided is approved and does not appear to adversely affect the operation of the system as it was originally designed.
