The Scope of Work:
The shell of the building is fire sprinklered for area increase. This scope includes adding and relocating new SSP heads to accommodate a new wall and ceiling layout to meet Tenant Improvements. To construct a 3,432 square foot retail sales tenant space on the 1st story of BODO Building #4. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a fitting room accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, suspended acoustical ceilings, suspended gypsum board ceilings, display fixtures, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The "Riser" and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification. The permit is attached to BLD06-02177.
