Description
Under this permit, provide complete sprinkler coverage from the first level through out the fifth floor. (Section 1 of 2). The wet pipe system will be supplied from a wet combination class I standpipe sprinkler riser. Each floor will be controlled from a local sectional control valve with exception to the fifth floor sectional control valve which will be controlled from the forth floor stair well, independent from the fifth floor. The Underground and the Garage level work has been permitted under separate permits.
This permit is attached to BLD05-02204 for the Plaza Mixed Used - (Section 1 of 2) A two hour fire wall (also use as a horizontal exit) will be constructed to divide this 42 unit, 61,812 sq.ft. 5 story, wood framed apartment building into two separate buildings, above a Type I-A parking garage, per City Ordinance 4-16. This portion of the building contains 25 units, and is 36,048 which 1,281 sq. ft. is occupied roof area. There are two of these units that are less than 800 sq.ft. each. Refer to BLD 05-02750 for the other side of the fire wall. Refer to BLD 05-00926 & FIR06-00365 for the parking garage. Refer to BLD 06-00693 for the north building. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered per NFPA 13 per Boise City Ordinance. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. MJP DRH 04-00241 CUP 04-00087.

Inspection for the 5th floor rough-in only, one head as installed is overspaced as marked on approved plans, need to provide documentation that roofing insulation is sufficient to provide adequate freeze protection for overhead piping run in the joist channels at the deck, will need plan review verification that unsprinklered water closets are acceptable for this NFPA 13 system, overhead hydro for the 5th floor is okay, some field modifications have been made which deviate from the approved set of drawings.
