Description
WINGS CENTER) To remodel a 6,351 sq. ft. area within the "Wings Center" known as "Planet Kid". The area is located on the first floor and mezzanine level in the southeast corner of the building which will involve a new exterior stair system to serve as a second exit from the mezzanine; removal of an overhead door and installation of storefront glazing with new exit door on the main level and minor exterior modifications per approved plans and DR06-00092. To upgrade the fire sprinkler systems to meet tenant needs and comply with current adopted codes and ordinances. The sprinkler scope of work includes relocating an existing 4" main and tying in the existing branch lines. When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The "Riser" and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification. Inspection was for a piping rough-in not a final. Sprinkler piping is ok to cover. Still need to add the pendant head in the "cloud" as per the approved plans. It does not appear that any of the surrounding heads will provide adequate coverage
