The scope of work is to install a Class I dry manual standpipe at the S. E. stairwell. A hose valve will be installed on each of the floors as draw on sheet FP-2. A new 3" relief valve will also be installed, with 6" discharge piping to terminate onto the street as it was previously approved. A new test header will also be installed at that same point. This garage is not fire sprinklered. The piped system shall comply with NFPA 14-2003, attached review comment and conditions list, all as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-01308.
