This fire alarm permit is to install an addressable fire alarm system in an apartment complex for sprinkler monitoring, residential apartment smoke detection, exterior building notification and one ADA compliant apartment and corridor for the hearing impaired. Building Permit # BLD06-00076 is to construct a new 9,316 square feet, three story, seven unit apartment building. The first floor is 4,484 square feet and 1,100 square feet of this area is for open parking garages. Each unit is over 800 square feet in area. Unit "A" is two story, three bedroom, two bath. Unit "B" is two story, three bedroom, one and one/half bath. Unit "C" is two story, two bedroom one and one/half bath. Units "D & E" are single story two bedroom and one bathroom. Units "f & G" are three bedroom and two bath. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered per NFPA 13-R and is considered as part of building #4 for exterior wall and opening protection per IBC Section 704.3 Exception for one building.
