To install a (modified) life safety NFPA 13D system in a new 670 ft/2 addition on the second floor of a two story 2160 ft/2 single family dwelling. The existing system shall be equipped with an alarm initiating device and an outside alarm. All existing fire sprinkler work and related, which includes dual use, single service water supply, and the system backflow prevention device (provided by others), shall be per NFPA 13D, approved plans, and attached review comments, under direction of the Fire Chief. These plans and calculations were resubmitted to request approval for the use of a 1” water meter in lieu of a 1.25” as originally submitted. The alteration does not adversely affect the operation of the system and meets minimum requirements.
