The scope included replacing 44 SSP and adding 6 other SSP heads to accommodate a new wall and ceiling layout as a result of tenant improvements. The existing riser assembly will be completely modified to include a new 2.5” back flow device and wall post indicating control valve. All seismic bracing shall be verified under this permit.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
