Description
RCE 1235 Don Young Construction (Boise Fire Station #14) To construct a 12, 503 sq. ft. two story, Type VB fully fire sprinkled fire station. The first floor is 9,979 sq. ft., and the second floor 2,553 sq. ft. with fire sprinklers used for area and story increase. This building has been designed for non-separated uses. The fire sprinkler scope of work includes a new 6” C900 underground lead into the building beginning from an existing gate valve at the property line. The over head system consists of a wet & dry pipe riser serving through out the new structure. The overhead supply will be controlled from Wall Post indicating valve outside of the riser room. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. Provide resubmittals for the first floor area south of the bays. Relocate the branchline on the second floor south of the sky lights to within 6" center line of the peak and make the sprinkler deflectors horizontal. Provide approved hangers and hanging method for the 4" main piping in the bay area.
