To construct a new 9,280 square foot, one story pre-engineered metal building and related site improvements. This building will be use as a full service auto body repair and paint facility. This building contains a 1,680 square foot office with restrooms, break room, locker room and parts storage room. The remainder of the building consists of repair bays, paint preparation areas, detailing area and pre-manufactured paint booth, paint mixing room and preparation deck area. This building is being reviewed as non-separated uses. The fire sprinkler scope of work includes installing a wet pipe system will serve through out the bldg. and the paint booth. The system will be controlled from a wall post indicating valve. A separate control valve to the paint booth piping will also be installed All sprinkler work shall be performed in accordance with IFC 2003, NFPA 13 2002. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. The fire sprinkler scope has been revised to also include 6 additional heads in the paint booth as a result of changes to the booth dimensions. Calculations supporting the additional heads are approved.
