This work is being done as ongoing maintenance of the fire sprinkler system. The scope of work includes adding and replacing sprinkler heads in the Mechanical rooms of the 2nd through 17th floors. It also includes isolated work on the 12th, 14th & 20th floors where heads are to be relocated and added to meet coverage requirements. When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility.

The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification. This permit is not attached to any other.
