This fire alarm quick permit is to re-program the fire sprinkler preaction system #2 solenoid output to release when two separate fire alarm inputs have been detected. Releasing of the water flow solenoid will be an "And" function, one being the room smoke detector as identified on the submitted floor plan, the other will be the low air pressure alarm on preaction #2 system. The existing fire sprinkler preaction system #1 in the remaining areas of the building will not be changed and shall operate as previously approved.
