The Permitted Work Scope:
To remodel the exterior store front of the plaza. The Fire Sprinkler scope includes extending the existing Anti-Freeze system to serve 17 new up-heads to be located in the overbuilds as necessary to meet coverage requirements. This building is fully fire sprinkled. Any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. This permit is attached to BLD06-03220.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area. The affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
