This fire alarm permit is to install new visual notification appliances to an existing Altronix NAC Booster Power Supply in the 2nd floor South Wing Labor & Delivery Room and install additional system smoke detectors in several patient rooms. Building permit BLD07-00170 is to perform selective demolition within the Nurse's stations and support facilities for Labor and Delivery unit, 2nd floor south wing. Work includes installation of new 7' high doors in remodeled area; installation of new HVAC grills or cleaning of existing per plans; replace existing hydronic radiant panels in pre-op & post-op; replace millwork & plumbing fixtures, making a portion of the new Nurse's Station counter comply for accessibility; install new soffits & lighting above Nurse Stations with ceiling grid & tile repaired to match soffit line; and upgrade lighting fixture's as indicated for improved energy efficiency. All HVAC ductwork to remain for reconnection to new or cleaned grills, minimum hydronic piping changes and main drains and vents to be remain for reuse. A Letter of Compliance is required for final approval. Phase I is being done under BLD06-03545 already issued. drs
