Contractor was not ready for final inspection at the agreed time, both dry systems were off line with control valves shut, air supply lines shut, missing valve trim at both systems including drain line for the pressure switch, automatic ball drips, plugs at the 3-way air guage valves, low air switches were not set. No pre-testing or system check had been completed prior to scheduling a final acceptance test. Although the inspection failed, agreed to make a same day return trip if corrections could be made in time.

Field installation is not consistent with approved plans regarding main locations, pipe size, branch line routing, some head locations, etc. Per review notes, any variance affecting these components of the system will requrie plan resubmittals due to narrow calc. margins. Approved plans must match field install prior to request for field inspection, as-builts will not be accepted in this situation.
