Original Scope of Work: Overhead Only - Phase II includes providing complete sprinkler coverage through out the Bldg. over five floors beginning from an existing 4” outlet on the basement level. A wet pipe system will be supplied from a combination Class I Standpipe sprinkler riser in Stairwell # 3. Each floor will be controlled from a local sectional control valve with exception to the fifth floor sectional control valve which will be controlled from the forth floor stair well, independent from the fifth floor. The Class I Standpipe will be located in Stairwell #4. The Basement Sprinkler system, riser and standpipe supply was installed under a separate permit. This building is fully fire sprinklered per NFPA 13 per Boise City Ordinance. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. This permit is attached to BLD06-00693.
09/27/07 Review Comments & Conditions of Approval:
Provide coverage on all exterior patios and balcony’s at each level per IFC 903. (Type V construction). The 5th floor patios shall be protected regardless of the roof eve overhang or lack there of. Sprinkler coverage will be verified by a Fire & Life Safety Field Inspector. As-Built plans including the additional coverage shall be resubmitted upon completion of the project or in additional plan submittal as required.
Revise the plans to include coverage in the corridor outside the bedrooms of the unit 106 located at Col. 13, 14 & D on each of the 5 floors. Sprinkler coverage will be verified by a Fire & Life Safety Field Inspector. As-Built plans including the additional coverage shall be resubmitted upon completion of the project or in additional plan submittal as required.
Revise the riser notes to include accurate Phase II details. Please include the entire square footage served from each riser and are served. As-Built plans including the required notes shall be resubmitted upon completion of the project or in additional plan submittal as required.
Provide FDC supply information where two or more bldg is being served. (Per IFC Requirements). Adequate signage will be verified by a Fire & Life Safety Field Inspector. As-Built plans including the FDC notes shall be resubmitted upon completion of the project or in additional plan submittal as required.
Sheet FP-5, a head is not located at the end of pipe in the corridor from the Kitchen in unit 503. . Sprinkler coverage will be verified by a Fire & Life Safety Field Inspector. As-Built plans including the additional coverage shall be resubmitted upon completion of the project or in additional plan submittal as required.
