Description
This fire alarm permit is to expand an existing fire alarm system into a newly remodeled 2nd floor tenant space in the BODO-5 Building (Hawkins Smith). Fire alarm work includes audible visual notification, induct smoke detection, HVAC and sprinkler monitoring, manual pull stations elevator recall and smoke detection for fire curtain and door hold open release. Permit BLD07-00625 is to create a 21,683 square foot office tenant space on the top story of the "9th Street Warehouses" for a new tenant. An existing tenant space will be combining with part of another existing tenant space. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior windows, a 90 minute fire door assembly in an existing fire wall, skylights, and finishes. The existing 2-hr fire wall shall be maintained. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Quick-response fire sprinkler heads are required throughout this building. **CJW**
