This fire alarm permit is to add a remote annunciator to the existing FACP and install additional sprinkler system devices i.e. flow switch and tamper switches to the modified sprinkler system. Building Permit # BLD07-02761 is to remodel an existing 8,316 sq.ft. building for an automobile body shop per plans and DRH07-00496. This building is declared by architect as being fully sprinklered. This building was constructed as a MACO Auto Body Shop and recently occupied by Eddy's Bread Outlet, with product deliver / storage / sales and enclosed parking for delivery trucks. This remodel includes the installation of a 1,000 gallon sand and grease interceptor on the east side of the building to service the new floor drain being installed for a new vehicle indoor wash area. To remove a portion of the concrete floor to install floor drain and slope floor to drain for wash area; to add one fully accessible restroom in the main office area and construct walls to create a private office and break area; to modify lighting fixtures and switching in the office area; install a U.L. listed self contained spray painting booth with attached mixing room; add a self contained vehicle prep unit; and to provide an accessible counter / sink / controls / switches / outlets in the new break room per ICC/ANSI A117.1-98.
