overhead Work Scope:
(ADA COUNTY - ASSESSORS OFFICE) To construct a core and shell and office build out for a 14,380 sq.ft. tenant space which includes minor interior demolition, replacing storefront doors with glazing and a new exterior entry vestibule and window decorative sunscreens per approved plans and DRH07-00359. Work includes construction of non-combustible fire-resistive wall partitions to create private offices, three distinct open office customer service and support areas, a break area, vault, file and conference areas; four fully accessible restrooms, drinking fountains and customer service counters; new suspended ceiling grid system and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm system upgrades to meet tenant needs and provide code compliance.
The Fire Sprinkler scope consists of adding and relocating down heads to accommodate the new wall and ceiling layout. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-03027.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
