overhead Work Scope:
(KOWALIS & MACKEY - BODO BLDG #4 - STE 270) This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. To build out a SHELL & core area of 1,529 sq. ft. on the second floor for office use. Work include interior non-combustible wall framing, finishes, millwork, electrical, mechanical, sprinkler and alarm systems installation and a suspended ceiling grid system, all per approved plans, notes and attachments of all reviewing agencies.
The Fire Sprinkler scope consists of adding 84 new down heads and relocating 10 other up-right heads to accommodate a new wall and ceiling layout. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-03236 which is limited to suite 270.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verificatio
