Bldg. Scope:
(SBI CONTRACTING RACKING - EXECUTIVE CENTER - STE 140) To install 198 lineal ft. of 6'-4" to 9'-10" high steel storage pallet racking in a 10,500 sq.ft. existing warehouse area per approved plans and Engineering. The design, testing and utilization of industrial steel storage racks shall be in accordance with the RMI Specification for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks. A Letter of Completion is to be issued when done. This building was originally constructed in Ada County and later annexed into Boise City. Existing envelope is not being affected by this permit. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. (SRZ)

These plans were submitted for a complete evaluation of the existing system to confirm the existing design would support proposed rack storage of Class I – III to 16’-6” through out the warehouse. The existing system is designed to Ordinary Group II / Spec Warehouse @ .30/2600-ft/2. Two heads will be added for column protection as required.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD08-00653.
