Zoo Boise - African Village Adventure - (Lion Holding, School, and Concession) - To Construct a new 4,173 mixed use building. Using Non-separated uses section 302.3.1. First use is a U occupancy (Lion Holding), Second use is an A-3 occupancy (School), Third use is an A-2 occupancy (Concessions), Last use is an S-1(storage area). This building is one story and separated into its own fire area by a fire barrier wall next to the Lion Viewing area. This building is fire sprinklered. TLW
Scope of Work: UG Only
Shilo point of connection is located on the south side of the project beginning from an existing Tapping Tee & Valve (Provided By Others). From there, run 56 lf. of 6” C900 out and through UG Gate valve to a remote PIV. Continue out 195 lf of 6” C-900 rise up into the riser room of a new 4173-ft/2 bldg. A second run of 4” C-900 will be run from the bldg. south 195 lf to a remote FDC with in the same ditch. A remote FDC / Alarm will be installed next to the remote FDC. An additional Hydrant will be installed by others with in 30’ of the new FDC. All fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2007, NFPA 24-2007 the IFC-2006, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire “Inspection Card” are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD07-02837. The overhead will be submitted under a separate permit.
