FIR OH Work Scope: Revised 08/29/08 - Modify the existing riser assembly by adding a new 2-1/2" back flow preventer with supervisory (tamper) switches and replace the existing (21) standard response upright sprinkler heads with new quick response upright sprinklers heads in order to use the quick response modifier rule as reflected in NFPA 13.11.2.3.2.3 so as to prove the required calculations and friction loss for the backflow preventer. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
