To add a duct smoke detector within a new HVAC unit serving the new TI space, connected to, and powered by, the existing fire alarm system which provides monitoring of the building sprinkler system and HVAC duct detectors. This permit is attached to BLD08-00682, which is to construct a new 1400 sq ft tenant space in an existing strip mall. Work to include, construction of interior partitions to create new unisex restroom, breakroom and office area, installation of new Hi-Low Drinking fountain, installation of new HVAC system with individual exhaust stations for nail technicians, intallation of janitors sink and shampoo stations, installation of suspended ceiling system and related lighting, miscellaneous related interior finishes, this building is fully fire spinklered ANY ALTERATIONS TO THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM WILL REQUIRE a separate permit and shall be installed and maintained per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
