This fire alarm permit is to replace the existing Notifier FACP with a new SFP-5UD FACP. Permit scope is also to include adding one duct detector connection and sprinkler monitoring, as well as adding a pull station at the sprinkler riser location.
Associated building permit: BLD08-01430 (IDAHO MOUNTAIN TOURING - TENANT IMPROVEMENT) (DRH08-00221) This building is required to be fully fire sprinklered for building area increase and for fire area. To expand an existing 11,500 square foot tenant space into an adjacent 5,800 square foot area. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a floor area of about 17,300 square feet and will occupy the entire building. A 700 square foot storage mezzanine, including a stairway to serve it, will also be constructed. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior bearing and shear walls to support the new mezzanine, furred walls, an employee restroom accessible to the disabled, an employee shower/locker room accessible to the disabled, skylights (wood beams and pony walls will be provided to transfer loads), structural ties between the exterior walls and the roof diaphragms, roof insulation on top of the roof deck, a new roof covering, an exterior landing and steps at the Main Street exit door, awnings (steel frames, steel rods, steel decks, steel plates, through bolts, epoxy bolts, expansion bolts), millwork, new openings in existing masonry and concrete walls (concrete footings, steel columns, steel beams), support for a new roof top HVAC unit (steel columns and wood beams) new exterior windows and doors, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This building is required to be fire sprinklered throughout.
