The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of a tenant finish out of a two story condominium. New hydraulics was supplied since this is the top floor of the building.

(THE ASPEN - RESIDENTIAL UNIT 1701) Fire sprinklers required because this building is a high-rise. To create a 5,045 square foot dwelling unit on the 17th story and 18th story of a new high-rise building (2,951 square feet on the 17th story and 2,094 square feet on the 18th story). The 1-hr corridor/lobby on the 17th story will be constructed in conjunction with this permit. Work is to include 1-hr fire-resistance-rated tenant demising walls, 1-hr fire-resistance-rated corridor, an elevated noncombustible exterior deck at a pool and spa, concrete curbs to restrain spas in a seismic event, interior nonbearing walls, suspended gypsum board ceilings, a noncombustible open stairway, exterior walls and windows at the stairway, guards, millwork, and finishes. The portion of this dwelling unit located on the 17th story is required to comply with ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 Section 1004 as a Type B dwelling unit. The portion of this dwelling unit located on the 18th story is not regulated for accessibility. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
