This fire alarm permit is to add smoke detectors to the existing fire alarm system to accommodate a tenant improvement, replace ion detectors with photoelectric detectors in the operating room, and provide duct detectors for a new HVAC unit being installed. Notification is not part of this permit.
Associated building permit: BLD09-01723 (ST LUKES)(3RD & 4TH FLR)(3C-ENDOVASCULAR OR TI) Tenant improvement includes selective demolition and remodel of portion of the third floor, North Wing, Endovascular O.R and clean supply room, approximately 1,460 sq. ft. An existing electrical supply penthouse located at the Central Wing fourth floor is to be removed to allow space for a new Roof Top Air-Handling Unit and associated roof improvements. Scope of work includes expansion of Endovascular O.R. into the existing Clean Supply room and add a Control Room for the O.R.; install lead-lined gypsum wall board to a height of 7' a.f.f. with lead lined window at O.R. & Control Room; relocate lead lined entry door / hardware / view panel to O.R; complete interior finishes, millwork, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm modifications. Connect new equipment per structural details of plans & add W12x26 steel beams to support new RTU equipment. Provide Special Inspection per ESR 1917, Hilti KWIK BOLT TZ & ESR 2262, Hilti HIT-HY 150 MAX Adhesive Anchors for concrete, copies attached to plans. drs
